Leland vuelve a repasar el primer tema con el que empezó su canal de youtube. el tema de Phil Collins: AGAINST ALL ODDS. prácticamente igual que el primero en la línea del bajo. esta es la partitura con sus variaciones.

el tema de hoy es I'VE NEVER BEEN TO TEXAS, de Judith Owen. en esta línea, Leland hace una línea muy atípica en la que toca muchas octavas, como si llevara un octavador, pero tocándola él. muy, muy interesante.

hoy vamos con un tema muy sencillito de leer, para principiantes. un tema country de MERLE HAGGARD: Where is all the freedom. en él Leland usa unas esponjas para oscurecer el tono del bajo y darle más un sonido a cuerdas de entorchado plano.

empezamos la semana con la última canción de los ensayos de JAMES TAYLOR. es la preciosa canción CAROLINA IN MY MIND. Leland no tenía pensada tocarla y parece que hacía mucho que no la tocaba. Al principio duda un poco pero enseguida entra "in the zone" y toca maravillosamente, como siempre.

en el vídeo del lunes, Leland toca la canción JUNKIES LAMENT de James Taylor. la mayor parte de la canción es bastante standard, pero al final hay unas líneas preciosas que merecen ser estudiadas.
